As a local university, Buckinghamshire New University are delighted to offer Chepping View trainees the opportunity to gain a postgraduate qualification alongside their QTS. Undertaking a PGCE provides opportunities to deep dive into key topics covered as part of teacher training and showcase critical understanding as part of a Masters level qualification. You will have access to BNU’s beautiful study spaces and facilities at the High Wycombe campus.

Having a PGCE affords further pedagogical study and is seen as required standard for teaching in many other countries. For those who want to take things further, the 60 credits gained can be applied to BNU’s MA Education Advanced Standing.
