Making the Right Choice
When applying via DfE APPLY, you can now make up to four choices
- Competition for places can be strong, so think about how best to use your choices
- You don’t have to use all four, but if you do, you have to make them at the same time – you can’t add them at a later date
- There is no restriction to your four choices – you can choose from any route, subject or age group, in any combination
- To apply for a place on our Primary Initial Training Programme, you make your application to Chepping View Primary Academy SCITT (Provider Code: 24S).
- The DfE FIND postgraduate initial teacher training programme search tool will allow you to differentiate your search, so you can search using a particular word
What’s next?
Once DfE APPLY have received your application, they will send you a welcome email.
- This will contain your Personal ID and username for their online system, where you can follow the progress of your application.
- Your application will be sent to your chosen training providers online, normally within 24 hours.
- Your application will be sent to all your chosen providers to be considered at the same time.
One key thing to note is that you do not have to reply until you have received all your offers. When you do have all your offers, you will have time to make your decision – this must be done in DfE APPLY.
